Number one reason husby knows the babe is his: my ridiculous sweets craving the past few months. Normally I’m like meh. Maybe a bite or two of some dark chocolate, but otherwise please pass the pretzels. Give me something salty and crunchy, preferably with something cheesy to dip it into and I’m a pig. But […]

I should probably stop waiting until just before bed to actually write. My brain has stopped working. The end.

a short list of reasons I love autumn

Friday, October 11th, 2013

1. Layers, sweaters, vests, and boots. And blankets on the bed. 2. Corn mazes. 3. Apple cider, even if none of the cider mills have a gluten free donut option for dipping into the cider. Yet. 4. My renewed desire to bake – and starting a gluten free sour dough starter.

Pregnant lady hormones are the weirdest. One morning I cried because my oatmeal boiled over in the microwave. The next morning I cried because I remembered my oatmeal boiling over in the microwave the previous morning. Thanks, baby.

Racing for Two

Friday, September 20th, 2013

At the end of June I competed in two triathlons, and while I wanted to share about them, due to circumstances and my new work situation I didn’t feel like it was the right time to share. But, now that some time has passed, I no longer need to stay mum about my summer races. […]

Mission: Gluten Free Sourdough

Monday, August 12th, 2013

Friends, I will not give up my sourdough. This weekend I discovered Rumi’s gluten free bread, and it is like the real deal. At least enough so that I have eaten half the loaf in the form of tomato sandwiches in the last 2 days. (Oh sweet tomato sandwich. My summer siren.) So now I’m […]
