locating studs in order to build new bookshelves. Now onto finding the rest of the wood that will make up the shelves. We’re hitting Habitat ReUse stores regularly. Luckily there are 3 of them nearby.
celebrating a completed trip around the sun with chocolate cupcakes, chocolate frosting, and sprinkles, and so many friends and family members. We’re truly lucky that so many were able to help us celebrate.
visting the zoo and laughing at the giraffes and red pandas. We finally made it there more than 30 minutes before closing, which meant we got to visit the primate house, the children’s zoo, and the aviary for the first time.
riding with Great-Grandma during our visit to Minneapolis. She was pretty happy to visit with the youngest of her great-grandchildren. He had a fun time too.
watching signs of spring on our runs through the arboretum. The ice has gone out on the lake and cranes are flying over the marsh.
eating corned beef, potatoes, and cabbage. and girl scout cookies
planting leek seeds. They’re starting to sprout!
pruning lilac bushes. They are in rough shape, but hopefully we’ll get a few blooms this spring.
